in the world of pantone, colour is the name of the game, and every year they celebrate a new colour. this year the colour of choice is "tangerine tango" and pantone have teamed up with sephora to create a collection of make up, nailpolish, even eyelashes inspired by the colour.

if they ever created a collection based on my favourite colour "dahlia" i would have a hard time not wearing it from head to toe.

i came across a documentary about windsor castle in england, and was amazed at the beauty of queen mary's doll house. the miniature house- a replica of the windsor castle, is over 4 feet tall and was developed and completed in 1924 by sir edwin lutyens. with intricate details such as artists' paintings, miniature appliances, toys, and even functioning plumbing and electricity...this doll's house will definitely keep barbie dreaming.  all photos belong to the royal collection

jeremy scott is back with a colab collection with adidas originals.  i remember being drawn to the store when i spotted a pair of the gold high top wing shoes.  this season he is developing the same shoe again in various colours and fabrications.  im kinda feeling the denim version and am intrigued by a few other pieces in the collection...they are a bit crazy...in a kinda good way.

                                

{ the mod life }

last month's nylon magazine featured an editorial about up and coming young stars decked out in outfits  i would love to add to my closet.  the wardrobe was in ode to mod fashion, which also happens to be the the culture where i derive a lot of my inspiration.  i was also stoked that the photoshoot included some of the actors from another one of my favourite things, the show misfits. {which seriously if you have not watched yet, you have to check it out, xo }

its been a while, but i am back again, and hope to add more blog posts each week.  i  actually came across the pre fall shows a while ago, but only had the chance today to write about my favourite one.  the accessories that karl largerfeld creates show after show are remarkable, and the ones featured in this collection are truly an inspiration for me.  thanks for style.com for including the great images in their details page.
